Abstract
Prof. Monkombu Sambasivan Swaminathan was born on 7th August 1925 in the temple town of Kumbakonam, Tamil Nadu. He had his schooling at the Native High School and Little Flower High School, Kumbakonam. Prof. M. S. Swaminathan displayed brilliance from the very beginning of his educational career.
