Awards/ Honours: Fellow, Indian Society of Genetics and Plant Breeding; First Position in School in High School Certificate Exam in 1983; University Gold Medal for Master Degree at BHU in 1992; Best worker (Senior Scientist) Award in ICAR-NRRI for 2015; Best interactive presentation by Society of Biotechnology and Bioinformatics 2015.
