THE genetic control of some economic characters in cauliflower was reported
in an earlier paper ( Swarup and Pal, 1966). In the present investigation
the mode of inheritance of some quantitative characters like number of
leaves, leaf size, plot yield and number of marketable curds in cauliflower
and the manifestation of heterosis in the F, hybrids were studied. The material
and methods used were the same as in the earlier paper.
