EFFECTS OF FAST NEUTRONS AND GAMMA RAYS ON CASTOR

VARIOUS workers have reported the effects of ionizing radiations on crop plants but so far little attention has been paid to castor. The present study primarily deals with thy effects of fast-neutrons and gamma rays on castor crop and isola- tion of useful variants for yield, oil content, plant height, and male and female tendencies of the plant with a view to increase yield per unit area.
