A representative sample of Saccharum officinarum L. germplasm comprising 94 dones,
drawn. from different geographic sources, was evaluated for its diversity using
nonhierarchical Euclidian duster analysis. Alfthe dones were grouped into nine dusters,
which showed considerable diversity for yield and quality traits. There was no relationship
between geographic origin of the dones and their dustering pattern.
