A BLOOMLESS MUTANT IN GARDEN PEA

Published on

IN pea (Pisum sativum L.) a majority of varieties have a waxy bloom on the leaves,
terns and also on the pods. Some varieties, however, are bloomless and as such their
leaves and pods are of a shining green colour. In such bloomless varieties, the flowers
and pods have been observed to be normal in every respect.
