GENIC ANALYSIS IN RICE-III. INHERITANCE OF SOME CHARACTERS IN TWO CLUSTERED VARIETIES OF RICE

Published on

CONSIDERABLE amount of work on the inheritance of characters in rice has been done
in Japan, India and the United States of America. The investigations on the genetics
of rice in Japan have been recently reviewed by Nagao (1951). Jodan (1948, 1955,
1956 and 1957) has brought together information on genic analysis of rice in the
U.S.A. and from other countries. He has also made an attempt to consolidate available data on various linkage groups. In India, work on rice has been recently reviewed by Ramiah and Rao (1953) and by Ghosh
et. al., (1956).
