Forty genotypes of soybean were grouped in nine clusters on the basis of chlorophyll
components and seven dusters with respect to yield attributes. The genotypes KO 1/ OS 2,
MACS 153 and MACS 189 had distinct identity with respect to chlorophyll components
and yield attributes. Crossing between genotypes of the dusters I and IX for chlorophyll
components along with carotene content and cluster V (OS 8) as well as cluster VI (KB 38,
BR 16) for seed yield and yield attributes is suggested.
